This class is for dogs over 4 months of age and will focus on learning the tools you need to shape more complex behaviors. Trick training is a great way to expel your dog’s mental energy and to strengthen your working relationship. Tricks can be used in our everyday lives as a way to work out obedience and agility tasks, or just as something to use to entertain friends and guests. You and your dog will have fun and can work towards various trick training titles as well. Your dog should have a good understanding of some basic commands (sit, down, stay) and be able to focus on you in a group class setting.

Novice Rally - Katie BRennan

Rally is one of the most popular sports for dogs and their handlers. It consists of obedience exercises put in to courses using numbered signs. As handlers are encouraged to talk to their dogs and praise them throughout, this fun and exciting sport really showcases and celebrates teamwork. Rally is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in breaking in to the dog sport world.
This class is for handlers who have completed Intro to Rally, or who otherwise know all of the Rally Novice signs. We will be doing weekly guided run throughs of full Novice courses, while continuing to perfect specific skills. In addition, we will begin to introduce some of the higher-level signs and begin to do some off leash exercises.
