New Workshop Schedule for MARCH 2020
Registration will open on Thursday Feb 27 8:30pm
* Nationals Prep
This workshop will focus on full courses representative of AKC nationals. Each team will run two courses- one STD and one Hybrid “real competition style.” After each course is run, teams will be able to train on the course. Put yourself in the mindset of attending the nationals !
When: Fri March 13
We are offering this workshop twice. Both sessions will be identical.
Session 1: 1030-130 w/ Jess
Session 2: 2-5pm w/ Perry
Cost: $110, 8 working spots
* FULL - Super Skills “Deep Dive”- Tunnels
In this workshop we will focus on sequences with Tunnels and Tunnel specific Training skills including: Tunnel Break, “CLOSE” (other end of tunnel) cue, Go On out of tunnels and “not going in the tunnel”! This workshop would great for dogs who often pick the wrong end of the tunnel, run off course to tunnels, have trouble turning out of tunnels or who have trouble going in them. Take control of the tunnels!

* FULL - Super Skills “Deep Dive”- Threadles
This workshop will focus on threadles and bringing your dog to the inside of the jump. There will be the opportunity to put the skills to the test within threadle focused sequences and/or working on the skills training necessary for each presentation.

* FULL - Super Skills “Deep Dive” - Backsides
The workshop is geared to training and handling all configurations of backsides of jumps. We will cover in depth the various backside presentations: Backside Slices, Backside Wraps, Backside serps, as well as sharp and flat approaches to backsides. We will also cover how to train independent backsides and the verbals associated with it. Furthermore, we will problem solve through the physical execution on the dog’s part to help them develop the proficiency to keep the bars up. Jump height and length of the set up sequences will be adjusted based on the dog’s understanding and current abilities.

* FULL - WEAVES
This workshop will be all about weaves. Focus on all weave training related issues including: entries, exits, tough weave challenges, or problem solving through your dog’s weave training.

*Young Dogs Workshop
This workshop will be geared towards young dogs. We will focus on sequencing and handling with Jumps and Tunnels primarily. Contacts might be used or present but are not the focus.

* FULL - Novice/Open Coursework
This workshop is designed for teams wishing to test their skills on full courses of the Novice/Open level. All obstacles will be used.
The full ring will be used for this workshop.
When: Thursday March 26, 3-6pm

Cost: $110, 8 working spots
* Youngish Dogs- w/ some contacts and 6 poles
This workshop will be geared towards young”ish” dogs and focus on sequencing and handling with all obstacles. Some of the contacts and 6 weaves will be included.
This workshop will use the whole ring.
